Wildlife fun

We went to the Wildlife Center's Art Show today. There was a live owl that the kids got to see up close and personal, and a fun tram ride around the nature center. The giant eagle - not quite as excited about that!

Cooking

While she may be a picky eater, she is not a picky cook or baker. Elsa loves to help me in the kitchen and it is starting to be real help as opposed to bigger messes to clean up. She recently "perfected" cracking eggs for muffins and this past week learned how to dredge fish in cornmeal. Amazingly - she even ate it after it was cooked!

Boomer

Elsa had her first "boomer", as she calls it. It was a slow motion tumble onto the concrete. I don't think she would have even shed a tear except the reaction of three adults with her lead her to believe this was no normal fall...silly parents!

Best Buddy

Tire swings are best when shared with your best buddy.

Snow day!

So this all technically went down in January but we are a bit behind. We had a pretty bad ice storm here a few weeks ago and everything shut down - or off in the case of our electricity (and heat). When we woke up in the morning to a chilly house we called our friends who still have heat and went over for pancakes and coffee. Then we played a bit in the snow. Not sure who had more fun...the dad's or the kids!
