This past week was pretty exciting for Elsa. She had many out of town visitors as well as attended her first farm night, decided being fussy was the "in" thing, and watched the inauguration with her mom.

Amanda, Emile and Novie came to meet Elsa and spoiled us with a feast from the New Deal, some much needed high school gossip and first time parenting advice. Novie is positively adorable and is such a sweet baby. We are sure Elsa and Novie will be life long friends just like the parents.

Aunt Tara came all the way from Texas to meet Elsa this weekend. Granted, Obama was at the top of her ticket but she did manage to navigate the Metro to come to Greenbelt to hang with Elsa for the afternoon.

Farm night was hosted by Margarette and was Elsa's first taste of her parents weekly gastronomic feast with dear friends. She met all of the regulars (Skee in pic) and met Estavao the second newest addition to the group.
While Daddy went to the Mall with Annmarie, Elsa and Mommy spent Inauguration Day in the comfort and warmth of home...here is Elsa in her "ballgown" watching Obama being sworn in.
