One of the best things that came out of my time working at Chemonics was the friends I made. I still keep in regular touch with many of them. This past week Elsa and I and two of my buds, Nathalie and Kathryn, and their new babes spent the day together. They are recently back from Madagascar and Uganda and so it was especially fun to see them. How crazy that we are lucky enough to all be on maternity leave at the same time! We spent the day at Nathalie's house and Elsa got to hang out with Mathias (13 weeks) and Alya (3 days older than Elsa).
Speaking of Chem Buds...Laura and Shamir came to visit Elsa this weekend. Laura is due in March and we look forward to many get-togethers with Baby Boy Shahi after his arrival. This is one lucky little boy to be joining such cool parents! Shamir kindly offered to be our "manny" but we think he will have his hands full taking care of "Om".
