Do you hear that?

When Elsa was born she was small, a cabbage patch kid could tower over her, but those days are long gone (well long in the, she's only 5 weeks old kind of way). Though small in stature she's always wanted to let you know that she's present and should be accounted for.

One way most babies do that is by burping during and after eating, Elsa however finds burping utterly passe, she is too refined for that so her lack of burping often ends up in "discomfort noises". Discomfort noises are not exactly squeaks, nor yelps, nor screams, their actually a melody of all three. Yes, the cacophony of sound has begun to wear on me a bit, but don't worry, I'm the action oriented proactive type so instead of becoming frustrated I "Patriot Act" the headache. My bold implementation of unsanctioned noise reducing technology is not approved by the other half of the Mazursky Parenting Coalition (MPC). Though they don't completely block out all the sound, ear plugs do certainly take the edge off...

Very funny Errol and Sara! Those must be really loud discomfort noises. I can tell you guys live in DC and were in the peace corps with all your acronyms and political slang. I feel a little out of it because I don't what it means to "patroit act" something. Elsa is looking huge!

Don't tell Sara that the "secondary" reason for the earplugs is that you can't here her asking you to do things for her and Elsa.

Enjoy the silence!
