Sniff Sniff - The Curls are Gone

Elsa has been long overdue for a haircut. She was starting to rock the hockey hair style and daddy wasn't doing such a hot job with styling it in the morning. I exhausted the limit of what I can cut long ago so today was her first real haircut.

We stopped into the barbershop/salon this morning at the end of Dalasi's walk and daddy ran home to get our wallet. By the time he got back, piles of curls were on the floor and I thought he was going to burst into tears. Elsa did an awesome job, she didn't move even once and loved getting her hair dried with the blower.

Daddy is still pretty upset at how short it had to be cut (mom's fault for 2 years of uneven cuts) - but I think its quite sassy!

St. Louis

Elsa was on the road again...this time visiting Uncle Moops and Aunt Liz with a special guest appearance from Uncle A, Aunt Jen and Gussie!

One thing is certain, Elsa is smitten on her Uncle Moops - big time. We approve of your love for the smart-science type Elsa!

More pictures from a great weekend to come. Thanks for having us Kev and Liz!

MLK 2011

A low key weekend with an Elsa who was not feeling so great. She managed to go the first 2 years of her life with no medication other than Ibuprofen and within the first 2 weeks of 2011 poor thing has had a chest infection, ear infection and super high fevers. She is on the mend and hopefully will be back to her spunky self soon.

Museum

Clara was in Switzerland over the holidays and Elsa got some extra QT with mom and dad. One of the many things we did was take her on her first trip to the Natural History Museum. Although the majority of the exhibits were well beyond her, it figures the African Mammal exhibit would we were we spent 75% of our times. Her favorite: the gorilla!

Catching up to the New Year

Its been a bit since we have updated anything, but Elsa has been having a pretty great 2011! If we were to generalize, this photo would describe how she has spent the majority of her time. With her backpack on (baby inside) at her kitchen!
