Clara's Art Show

Greenbelt had an Artist's Parade and Clara was able to showcase some of her paintings at a local home. Her son, Edam, had a blast pushing Milo in the swing and Elsa was excited to see Clara dressed up and wearing high heels!

Milo Rolls

Milo rolled over, back to tummy, today for the first time at seven months old! We don't have it captured on video or photo but this was basically his reaction - a stunned face - after he did it.

Soccer

Elsa started soccer this past weekend. She is in the 3-4 year old class. She needed a lot of prompting and hand-holding with the games the coaches had them do, but then wouldn't stop talking about it after so we think she had a pretty good time. No surprise here, but she was clearly the fastest kid on the field!

Milo is 7 Months

When you have baby rolls like this, clothes free pictures are really the way to go! Milo is still working on rolling over and cutting his first teeth. He is really "talkative" and almost seems to mimicking sounds. He like to pretend walk with Clara and is inhaling solids faster than mommy can puree them. He is starting to be able to sit up on his own for longer period as well.

The one thing Milo is actually peddling back on is sleep. Ironically I am too tired at night to read the sleep training book. He is still getting up a minimum of 2-3 times per night. Milo buddy - I know you miss mommy during the day but I promise I am much more fun in the morning than I am in the middle of the night!

Easter 2012

This year's Easter had lots of egg hunts, jellybeans and sunshine. Elsa loved it and now sings "here comes Peter Cottontail" all day long. Milo, well, he just hung out and got more cute.

Folks, we have an eater!

A six week premature baby being in the 95th percentile for weight at six months might make most parents assume when solids are introduced, the kid will happily chomp down everything in site. But in case you forgot, we were parents to Elsa first, which means our experience is that " yes, one black bean can sustain an active child for the whole day".... meaning we didn't get our hopes up with Milo.

Well in a mere three weeks, Milo has already consumed a wider variety of foods than his sister did in a year. Yea Milo!

Rice cereal, bananas, apples, carrots, avocados, peaches, pears, sweet potato and butternut squash. He has mastered his first foods like a champ and is moving on to beef jerky.
