Gorillas

We have mentioned many times Elsa's intense love of gorillas. We recently found Gorilla Crunch cereal and she now has an intense love of gorilla cereal (we enable and admit it). Part of the cereal box talks about where gorillas live, what they eat, etc. We are fairly certain that she is one of the few two year olds who know that gorillas live in Rwanda!

Despite her thrill at the brand new kitchen set that her daddy spent 5 hours putting together...her favorite gift of the year was from Aunt Rose...her own backpack! She often likes to make "eggies" in her kitchen while wearing it.

Happy 2 Years Elsa!

It's hard to believe that 2 years ago today, this little peanut said hello to the world...how tiny! Can you believe that is you Elsa!
2 years later you are still our little peanut, but you are no longer quite so little!
You run, jump, play hide/seek, have tons of friends, laugh all the time, speak spanish and english, love cheese, adore Dalasi, enjoy books, your favorite animal (other than Dalasi) is a gorilla and you love to help mommy and daddy. You are the best little girl in the world!

Seriously, who doesn't like being pulled through freshly fallen snow on a sled...this kid can't possibly be part Wisconsinite.

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a quiet Thanksgiving at home this year. Turkey, all the fixin's, and a lot of post turkey snugglin'!

23 Months!

At 23 months Elsa is really coming into her own. She is hysterical...just ask her, she'll tell you "Elsa silly". She has crazy amounts of words in Spanish and English and strings 3-4 together at a time. She loves being outside, baby gorillas, cats and babies (both dolls and real ones).

She wakes up in the morning and often says "Happy. Elsa Happy". We have a super duper kiddo and are darn happy too!
